Halloween 2012

Welp, after 82 days of sun this summer, our family made our way back to Spooner Farms
this year to find our Halloween Pumpkins in the rain!
It was just a perfect morning to wake up to the sound and smell of fresh rain,
put a crockpot on the counter with chicken & bean chili,
layered on the warm clothes and head out to the farm.
When we got home, we enjoyed some of that chili but didn't get to get to the carving until
the following day.
This year, like last, Kellen was able to pick out his own pumpkin.  The first one he touched...or tried to pick up in this case, was his!  He sure did have his eye on the prize...rain or shine!

Brayden's first Halloween with us this year, he had fun too.
When he asked if he could have any pumpkin out there, we said,
"Of course! You can have any one that you can carry!"
Little did we know, that started the challenge of finding the BIGGEST one out there!!
Look at the size comparison!

Just some fun poses!

Happy Halloween from my family to yours...

2nd Anniversary

For our 2nd anniversary celebration, celebrated a few weeks later, Jason made reservations at
P.F. Chang's Restaurant in Seattle.
The lettuce wraps were highly recommended by a few good friends, however,
my favorite part of the "dinner for two" we ordered, was definately
the Banana Spring Rolls for dessert!....
oh!, and the handsome man who I was proud to call my date.
After many years of friendship,
the past 2 years being married to him have been wonderfully
new and exciting and I'm thankful to be married to such an incredible man.
